WHIS®top & WHIS®wall along the L178n
In Merseburg-Süd (Germany), Our diffractors are helping to create a quieter living environment along the L178n.
We are proud that both the WHIS®top and WHIS®wall have been installed at this location, contributing significantly to noise reduction for the surrounding residential area. With more than half a kilometer of diffractors, this project demonstrates the effectiveness of innovative noise mitigation solutions in complex road infrastructure environments.
The combination of WHIS®top and WHIS®wall ensures optimal sound diffraction and absorption, meeting the high standards required for modern road construction projects in Germany.
This project was made possible through strong collaboration with all partners involved: LSBB – Landesstraßenbaubehörde Sachsen-Anhalt, Halle – Haus- & Umfeldbau, Dr. Löber Ingenieurgesellschaft für Verkehrsbauwesen mbH, and Zeppelin Rental.
The project also received special attention with a visit from Lydia Dr. Hüskens, Minister for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, underlining the importance of sustainable and effective noise protection solutions.
